Nestled in the heart of the graphic arts section of the historical downtown Guadalajara, we offer a quick get-away from the city without leaving the sites, restaurants, clubs and bars, and main plazas. Our prices are very reasonable and we offer a laid back atmosphere in which to explore the culture and history of this large Mexican city. We cater to travelers looking for a short or long stay in the heart of Guadalajara.

Our rooms are clean, comfortable and furnished with double beds, dressers, TVs with DVD and some have cable TV, ceiling fans, wireless internet and lockable closets. Most rooms have two entrances, one to a shared hall and bath and the other offers either direct patio access. The rooms are bright, sunny and cheerful.

About your hosts:

Oscar is a local to Guadalajara having lived here most of his life with his family in Zopapan. He is originally from a small town close to the coast whose family resettled here several years ago. Oscar can usually be found in the evenings with his computer listening to classical music and operas.

Anthony arrived to Guadalajara over three years ago. An American, he comes from the Los Angeles area and most recently Palm Springs. He enjoys the city life and the conveniences and excitement of living in a large city in Mexico. Anthony’s background is in internet software and can often be found programming websites. In addition, he teaches part-time college-level students in taking foreign college entrance exams at a local private school.

The house is located in the historical zone of Guadalajara in the heart of the printing area of the city. Here you will find several shops printing everything from books, t-shirts, posters, you name it. The area is called Nine Corners and is landmarked by a plaza and fountain a few blocks from the house.

The house was built circa 1930 in a modern style of architecture. It is a five-bedroom house, perfectly laid out for visiting guests. There is a typical Mexican interior patio allowing ample sunlight into the bedrooms and breakfast room. The breakfast room is adjacent to the patio and is where we serve a continental breakfast with fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, juice and coffee from 8am to 10am.
